penny dreadful one eye grey

One Eye Grey is a penny dreadful for 21st century that draws on the tradition of those early London publications as well as the pulp fiction that followed. Details of contributors to the last volume Bank Holiday Weekend are here and from the previous (See the Elephant Fly!) are here

In the final volume of 2008 (The second Arsenal Stadium Mystery) we had contributions from Neckinger Nell, James Riesen, Matt B, Anna Sayburn of the Dulwich Onview Magazine, Andy Adesmos and the final part of the trilogy from Scott Wood, who is proprietor, if that's the correct word, of the South East London Folklore Society.

And a special thanks to Jenny and Laura who as winners of the Shadow from the blitz competition got to be themselves.

We used  the illustrative talents on this occasion of Celia Biscoe,  Daniel Morgernstern and  Sara Bevan

Paul Rivas who will be in the next One Eye Grey has started up a rather interesting online story called the secret tramp which can will be an on going saga set on the streets of London.

Finally this issue of One Eye Grey is dedicated to the memory of decent government for London, which will of course return one day.

One Eye Grey is a collaborative effort bringing together people who fancied creating something chilling and pocket sized to read on the tube.
