penny dreadful one eye grey

One Eye Grey is a penny dreadful for 21st century that draws on the tradition of those early London publications as well as the pulp fiction that followed. Details of contributors to the last volume (See the Elephant Fly!) are here

In the second volume of 2008 (Bank Holiday Weekend) we had contributions from Emily Cleaver who can be found here. She also edits the online ghost magazine Fright Fiction. There was also part two of the trilogy from Scott Wood, who is proprietor, if that's the correct word, of the South East London Folklore Society

Added to these are the writing talents of Miss Daisy Pearce and Richard Burdett editor and proprietor of Pavement magazine.

Then there were also contributions from Andrew Flynn (Toll raven of Anerley) and Benedict J Jones (Going Underground).

We used some of Alexander Blair's and Rob Hackman's fine photos and the illustrative talents on this occasion of Celia Biscoe,  Daniel Morgernstern and  Alastair Kenwood

Finally this issue of One Eye Grey is dedicated to the memory of Kennedy's Sausages who closed last year.

One Eye Grey is a collaborative effort bringing together people who fancied creating something chilling and pocket sized to read on the tube.
